Accessibility Statement

1 Our Target

Our goal is conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA across our public website. This statement covers the pages on mjrcollectiveai.com: the home page, the free audit, booking, get-started, review pages, and our legal pages. It also covers the client websites we build and host.

This is a self-assessment. We have not had an independent accessibility audit. We review pages as we change them, and we treat accessibility reports as bugs.

2 What We've Done

• A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page
• Headings and page landmarks (header, main, footer) so screen readers can move around quickly
• A label on every form field (visible, or announced to screen readers where the design uses placeholder text), and form errors announced to screen readers
• Everything on our forms and the cookie bar can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
• Pages respect your device's "reduce motion" setting
• Text resizes with your browser zoom, and pages work on small screens without sideways scrolling
• The consent bar is closable with the Escape key, and choosing "No thanks" is as easy as choosing "Allow"

3 The Accessibility Toolbar

Most pages show a round accessibility button in the bottom-left corner. It opens a panel of display options you can switch on and off:

• Text size — 100%, 115%, or 130%
• High contrast
• Highlight links — underlines and outlines every link
• Readable font — switches to a plain, highly legible typeface
• Pause animations
• Grayscale
• Big cursor
• Reading guide — a horizontal bar that follows your pointer to help you keep your place
• Reset all — turns everything back off

The panel works with a keyboard, and Escape closes it. Your choices are saved in your own browser (localStorage, under mjr_a11y) and are never sent to us. The toolbar is a convenience — it does not replace your own assistive technology, and our pages are built to work with screen readers and browser settings without it.

4 Known Limitations

These are the gaps we know about. For each one, there is another way to get the same thing done:

• Signing a service agreement asks you to draw a signature with a mouse or finger, which doesn't work with a keyboard or screen reader alone. Email us and we'll arrange another way to sign.
• The booking calendar uses your browser's built-in date picker, which some screen readers announce poorly. You can type the date instead, or email us to book.
• The AI phone receptionist is voice-only. If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, you can reach us by email or through a relay service (dial 711).
• Some secondary text (small grey notes and captions) may fall below AA color contrast. The High contrast option in the toolbar fixes this, and we are correcting it as we update pages.
• Pages we don't control — Stripe checkout, Meta, and Google pages we link to — follow their own accessibility standards.
• The client dashboard has not yet had the same review as the public site. Clients who hit a problem there can email us for help.

5 Report a Problem

If anything on our site is hard to use, tell us which page and what happened. We'll help you get what you need right away and fix the problem.
